Silverwater Correctional Centre includes a 300- bed minimum security prison, 240-bed periodic detention centre, 900-bed metropolitan remand and reception centre, and the Mulawa sewer pump station upgrade. The project required comprehensive hydraulic services to support water, sewer, gas, and stormwater systems across multiple facilities.

Engineering solutions included sewer rising main amplification, high-pressure gas extensions, stormwater detention systems, and an innovative touch-time flow solution to control water flows, now an industry standard.

In-ground services were documented using MicroStation and GPS surveys to capture all inverts, eastings, northings, and interdependencies.
Hydraulic services were delivered from schematic and design development through to detailed design, construction documentation, authority approvals, and shop and penetration drawings. The project demonstrates technical innovation, precision engineering, and effective coordination in a complex, high-security environment.
