The Douglas Building is a major hospital facility delivering paediatrics, obstetrics, emergency, and medical imaging services. Originally designed as a four-level building, the project was expanded during design and construction to include a burns unit, a helicopter landing pad, and a belowground carpark, ultimately resulting in a seven-level hospital.

The final facility provided a flexible, resilient, and fully serviced environment capable of supporting complex medical operations and future growth.
